We're headed home
following the leader of the flock
The air is cool, offering resistance
providing lift
Then the squall suddenly hits
Crisis, heat, rain
We drop before recovering,
Experience fear, vulnerability
and despair
Then the storm is gone
We're free, we're strong
We fly as free as the
wind
I break away
This is my own flight

I'm going home
The wind envies me
I'm headed home
The leader follows me
